Job Summary: The Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of ERC's adult day and employment services programs. This role encompasses program development, client recruitment and engagement, contract management, staff supervision, budget oversight, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Director leads initiatives that promote skill-building, independence, and employment opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, while ensuring a safe and productive environment for clients, staff, and volunteers.

- Directly supervises day services staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and corrective actions.
- Ensures appropriate staffing levels in accordance with client-staff ratios and budget constraints.
Essential Job functions include:
- Lead recruitment efforts for clients participating in life skills and industry-based programs.
- Oversee all service contracts to ensure fulfillment in accordance with deadlines and specifications.
- Manage program revenue streams while maintaining cost efficiency, including wages and operational processes.
- Implement and uphold quality assurance systems across programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation for payroll, production, and program operations.
- Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and staff credentialing standards.
- Monitor and document incidents, behavioral events, and training activities in coordination with Human Resources.
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance of program facilities.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of employment-related paperwork in collaboration with Arkansas Support Network.
- Design and lead an innovative employment program that aligns with the needs of adults with disabilities.
- Cultivate relationships with referral and funding agencies, ensuring mutual goals are met.
- Oversee timely processing of Arkansas Rehabilitation Services (ARS) referrals by employment staff.
- Coordinate individual assessment, job placement, and vocational support services.
- Provide coaching on job readiness, workplace behaviors, and interpersonal skills.
- Deliver situational job training aligned with each individual's service plan.
- Oversee coordination of transportation services and route planning.
- Participate in annual meetings and develop and approve appropriate goals and objectives.
Qualifications - Knowledge/Skills/Abilities include:
- Strong verbal and written communication, including public speaking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to read, interpret, and create reports, training materials, and procedural documentation.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and state licensing requirements (e.g., ERC, DPSQA, Medicaid).
- Understanding of adult learning principles and training delivery methods.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse groups
- Skilled in managing multiple tasks and maintaining organized, accurate records.
Work Environment:
- Primarily office-based with occasional outdoor activity. Must be able to work in a climate-controlled environment with standard office equipment.
Physical Demands: This role requires sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling, repetitious computer and phone computer, and talking to people, weight minimum, etc.).

Travel: Less than 10% of local travel excepted for this position.
Required Education and Experience:
- Minimum level of education required – Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum years of experience required – Minimum of two years in a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Reliable transportation is required.
- If you are a van driver for ERC, you must have a valid Arkansas driver's license, meet safe driver's requirements, and be 25 years of .

- Licensure requirements- Must meet minimum licensure annual training requirements.
- This role includes licensure requirements for Administrators, Health & Safety, and HIPPA training.
