You've replaced HR processes with intelligent tools, automated onboarding steps, and created coaching workflows that deliver results without constant supervision. Now it's time to own the entire stack.At Trilogy, we've made a strategic decision to eliminate traditional management layers. Instead, we leverage data, feedback loops, and AI-powered tools to drive our teams forward. As our SVP of People Operations & Systems, you won't manage people—you'll create systems that make traditional management obsolete.You will architect these systems from the ground up. You'll define workflows, prototype solutions using AI and low-code tools, and personally implement them when necessary. You'll design dashboards that automatically surface coaching opportunities and performance risks. Working directly with the CEO, you'll make high-stakes decisions that shape our talent ecosystem. The success of these systems rests entirely on your shoulders.This role demands a builder who thrives on creating elegant solutions to complex people problems—not someone who relies on hierarchy or politics.   • Architecting comprehensive, implementation-ready specifications for AI-first HR systems that eliminate traditional management dependencies
  • Building functional prototypes and operating workflows using cutting-edge low-code and AI tools (Retool, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, etc.)
  • Executing critical onboarding, coaching, and release workflows personally when automation solutions are still in development
  • Developing sophisticated dashboards and metrics systems that generate actionable, real-time performance signals
  • Taking full accountability for outcomes across entire talent cohorts—from onboarding through performance optimization to appropriate releases
What You Won't Be Doing
  • Building or managing a traditional HR team structure or relying on business partners to execute your vision
  • Maintaining legacy HR tools or workflows that don't scale in our management-free environment
  • Wasting time in alignment meetings, committee reviews, or bureaucratic approval processes
  • Waiting for engineering resources to build the tools you need—you'll create them yourself
  • Substituting static documentation for dynamic, real-time system feedback and continuous improvement
SVP People Operations & Systems Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver a fully automated, AI-powered HR function that enables scaled global talent operations without traditional managers or manual interventions.Basic Requirements
  • Demonstrated excellence in designing and implementing end-to-end operational systems using AI and low/no-code tools (Cursor, Windsurf, Lovable, Bolt, Retool, Zapier, Airtable)
  • Proven track record of personally building working automations and functional prototypes without engineering dependencies
  • Advanced data analytics capabilities with demonstrated success converting complex people data into automated decision logic
  • Exceptional judgment in high-stakes talent decisions, including structured improvement plans and terminations, without relying on traditional management hierarchies
  • Successful performance in high-pressure, high-autonomy environments (startups, turnarounds, rapid-scaling companies)
  • U.S.-based with preference for Austin location or ability to travel minimum one week monthly
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

  • Strong foundation in business operations, engineering, data analytics, or product management
  • Demonstrated success building AI-native systems in high-growth environments
  • Current expertise with emerging AI development platforms and vibe-coding methodologies
