Credentialed Team Leader (Women's Program)

Headquartered in Paterson, NJ, Straight and Narrow is the largest program of its kind. We provide innovative and compassionate services to individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. We are looking for dedicated, caring, and compassionate people to work in our Residential/Outpatient Treatment Facilities and Community Programs.

Team Leader Women's Program

Hours: Tuesday- Saturday (8:30am - 4:30pm)

Location: Secaucus, NJ

Sign on bonus of $3000 (Full time Only) (New Employees Only)

Job Summary:

The team leader will provide leadership and oversight of specific program and clinical operations under the guidance of the clinical supervisor. Responsibilities include working with clinical staff to ensure services are provided according to organizational policies, procedures, and licensing standards.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Maintain a minimum caseload as required by the level of care of the assigned program.
  • Supervise the counseling team as directed by the Clinical Supervisor or Director.
  • Oversee clinical coverage of services.
  • Participate in scheduled team meetings.
  • Provide monthly reports to the Clinical Director on the program's status.
  • Participate in strategic planning and implement initiatives.
  • Develop and initiate program development projects with the treatment team.
  • Assist in designing and implementing policies and procedures.

Finances

  • Assist in overseeing and managing the submission of daily billing for services provided.

Human Resources

  • Assist in departmental orientation and training of staff and interns.
  • Develop and implement volunteer services programs.
  • Obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications; pursue ongoing professional development.

Programs

  • Maintain county and state contracts and be available for site visits.
  • Obtain and maintain agency licensure.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Supervisor and Director on program development.
  • Make recommendations regarding resident admissions.
  • Input client data into NJSAMS and monitor LOCI renewals.
  • Facilitate groups or individual sessions as needed.
  • Ensure client compliance with medical and psychiatric treatments and document accordingly.
  • Participate actively in staff and clinical team meetings, supervision, and CQI committees.

Qualifications:

LCADC, CADC, BA/MA/MSW/LAC/LSW or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in addiction treatment, with a thorough understanding of the needs of the substance abuse disorder population and evidence-based practices.
