The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) manages an assigned territory supporting reimbursement and patient services, including Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, Claims Assistance, and Appeals. This role involves educating offices on Payer landscapes through remote and on-site training, building relationships with providers and manufacturer reps, and working independently in a fast-paced environment. The position requires knowledge of Medicare and Commercial insurance plans, travel, project management, and account coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide education on reimbursement challenges and support services through on-site and virtual sessions, with activities tracked in CRM.
  • Educate on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, Medicare and Commercial coverage, and patient communication. Report activities monthly and quarterly.
  • Support case management, billing, coding, claims, and patient assistance programs, collaborating with case managers as needed.
  • Set up appointments, make outbound calls, assist with backlog casework, and interface with providers and manufacturer reps.
  • Monitor program performance via CRM dashboards and reports, including customer surveys.
  • Research and maintain provider and manufacturer information in reimbursement databases.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years healthcare reimbursement experience

Business Experience:

  • Experience with Buy & Bill or Specialty Pharmacy, oncology products preferred
  • Insurance verification, prior authorizations, claim adjudication experience
  • Medicare and commercial insurance knowledge
  • Proven presentation and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Web Meetings

Skills:

  • Previous field and specialty pharmacy experience a plus
  • Account management, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving skills

Travel Requirements:

Must reside in territory; able to travel 80% via automobile or plane; valid driver's license required.

Physical Requirements:

Long periods of sitting and keyboard work; general office demands.
