The Race4Chase program provides children ages 6-12 with the opportunity to develop a healthy lifestyle, build athletic skills, and grow in confidence through the sport of triathlon. As a Race4Chase Coach, you will instruct and mentor participants in swimming, cycling, running, strength training, and flexibility in a safe, inclusive, and non-competitive environment.

In this role, you will create a positive, trust-based atmosphere that aligns with the YMCA's mission and values. You will be responsible for setting up and breaking down equipment, maintaining a clean and safe instructional space, and ensuring clear communication with participants and their families. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young athletes while fostering a culture of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in youth sports instruction
• Strong knowledge of swimming, biking, and running fundamentals
• Ability to motivate and mentor youth in a supportive and engaging manner
• Must possess or obtain CPR/First Aid, AED, and Oxygen Administration certifications before the program starts
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with diverse groups of youth and adults
• Physical ability to swim, run, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as part of the role
