Job Description

We are seeking energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Retail Shop Managers-on-Duty to join our team at our state-of-the-art locations in Palo Alto. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact within a growing organization.

The MOD directs and motivates the sales team in one Equinox Shop, ensuring excellent customer service, a comprehensive customer experience, and operational excellence. The MOD reports to the Regional, District, or Area Shop Manager and the Assistant Manager, executing business strategies and action plans to maximize productivity and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Sales & Service
  • Achieve monthly sales goals (individual contribution to store goal)
  • Coach and develop Style Advisors in selling tactics and understanding key metrics
  • Ensure an unparalleled customer experience
  • Maintain knowledge of all club and Shop services, programs, and products
Operational Excellence
  • Uphold loss prevention and inventory management policies
  • Ensure team understanding of communication and operational tasks
  • Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling staff
Product & Presentation
  • Ensure the Shop and staff reflect brand standards through merchandising and dress code adherence
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization
Professional Dimension
  • Build effective relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Stay informed about company standards and practices
  • Enforce policies and support initiatives
  • Communicate effectively at all levels

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include proven leadership, retail experience, integrity, excellent communication, and flexibility to work varied schedules.
