Overview

My client is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to support the development and reliable operation of precision ion source systems. This role involves working at the intersection of hardware, diagnostics, and control systems within a multidisciplinary R&D team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement instrumentation for ion source monitoring and control.
• Integrate and calibrate sensors (e.g. temperature, pressure, beam current).
• Develop control systems and real-time data acquisition interfaces.
• Collaborate on fault-tolerant, redundant, and monitoring systems.
• Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of systems.
• Document system designs and operational procedures.

Required:

• Master's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in instrumentation, control systems, and sensor integration.
• Hands-on experience with DAQ, signal processing, and automation tools (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, MATLAB).

Preferred:

• Experience with high-voltage or RF systems in accelerator or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of EMC standards (e.g. IEC 61000), feedback control, or predictive maintenance.
• Familiarity with AI-based diagnostics and reliability engineering.
