Job Description :

Delaware Elevator is growing - and we're looking for a detail-driven, highly organized Field Operations Administrator to join our fast-paced construction team. This is a key support role for our field operations, ensuring projects run smoothly by managing permits, travel arrangements, security clearances, and administrative coordination. If you're a problem solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do In this role, you'll assist the Construction Manager by handling essential operational tasks, including: Permitting:

  • Manage permits from start to finish - application, tracking, and final close-out
  • Review upcoming job schedules to anticipate and meet all permit requirements
Travel Coordination:
  • Arrange hotels, flights, and rental cars for field crews
  • Communicate reservations and changes to team members
  • Negotiate cost-effective rates and perks for both short- and long-term stays
Security & Clearances:
  • Coordinate project-specific security requirements with General Contractors
  • Manage paperwork for DBIDS, background checks, DOT physicals, and drug screens
  • Maintain master clearance list, track expiration dates, and process renewals
General Administration:
  • Keep both electronic and physical files up-to-date and organized
  • Support superintendents with manpower coordination
  • Take on additional administrative tasks as needed
What You Bring to the Table
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Customer service mindset with professional phone and email etiquette
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Advanced education in business or logistics (a plus)
  • HIPAA certification (preferred)
