Job Description: The Office of Student Financial Services (Enrollment Services) is currently seeking a Clerk of Enrollment Services. This position serves as a member of the Enrollment Services team, focusing on general office management and enrollment functions. This person will be primarily located in the Student Financial Services, assisting with data entry, performing cashiering and customer service in addition to processing forms, and other specialized clerical duties related to financial aid and student billing. Responsibilities included but not limited to: -Assist in the daily operations in the primary assignment, which is Student Financial Services. -Cross train in other enrollment offices to provide support on an as needed basis. -Collect and process basic financial aid documentation as needed. -Greet office visitors, answering phones and other clerical functions. -Provide quality customer service at all times when responding to inquiries in-person, over the telephone, using online chat software, and through email. -Creation of documents including data entry needs to support student communication. -Review, process, and update student related forms. -Disseminate information regarding students' financials (including financial aid status and tuition and fee billing). -Cashiering/processing of tuition payments (including cash, checks, and credit cards). -Daily reconciliation of payment activity (including reconciliation reports). -Third party billing. -Ram Card processing for students, faculty, and staff. -Must possess the ability to respond appropriately in a changing office environment while maintaining the focus required to see a task to conclusion. -Contributes to a work environment that encourages and promotes diversity and inclusion. -Demonstrates 100% time-on-task; adheres to college and routine office procedures, and regulations. -Participate in college, division, department meetings, events and training as recommended and approved by the supervisor. -Participate in professional development opportunities, college committees, work groups and task forces, and other professional organizations as approved by the supervisor. -Performs other duties and responsibilities related to those listed above which do not alter the basic level of the position. Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: -High School diploma required, Associates degree preferred; Three years or more experience in a busy office environment. -Demonstrated skills in management of financial transactions, customer service or higher education, information management, etc. -Familiarity with a higher education environment, information management software and a demonstrated ability to manage projects to completion within an organization are preferred. -Excellent written and verbal communication, computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and Gmail, and the ability to learn new software and other skills as needed. WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Works in an office setting. Tasks require the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. The individual needs to move about inside the office to access office machinery. Constantly operates a computer and other equipment i.e. copier. This person frequently communicates with students, faculty and staff.
