What You'll Get to Do The Shipping Loader is focused on packaging product as well as loading and unloading product, using the forklift, overhead crane, and manual carts. This position reports to the Lead. This role is perfect for an individual who is committed, detail oriented, and a team player. A vital member of the Production Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader. Job responsibilities include:
- Load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, lifting device, or trucks
- Drive liquefied gas industrial truck equipped with lifting devices, such as a forklift
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Safely perform quality tasks and adherence to all safety policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate appropriately, complete paperwork, interpret basic mathematical measurements, and use a tape measure
- Notify lead or supervisor of any mechanical material issues
What We Are Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Work overtime with flexible starting times in some departments
- Stand and walk on concrete floor for eight hours or more
- Wear company issued safety shirt, hard hat, steel toed boots, safety glasses and hearing protection
- Computer experience preferred
