Closer Media is a film production company headquartered in New York City that produces and finances feature films and documentaries. The Company is seeking a receptionist for its Midtown West office. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills and will be a welcoming presence to guests of the Company.
Primary responsibilities:
• Greeting and seating guests
• Answer and appropriately screen incoming calls and inquiries to determine purpose and refer calls to others when appropriate.
• Managing conference room bookings
• Handling incoming and outgoing mail
• Provide back up support to Office Manager and other Administrative Staff to support the operations of the office
What we're looking for:
• Energetic and welcoming presence
• Prior experience in a similar role, or in hospitality a plus, but not a requirement
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Bachelor's degree
This is a full-time Monday-Friday (9am-6pm) in-office position based in midtown Manhattan, New York City.
Salary Range: Approximately $60,000-$70,000, commensurate with experience.
