We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our state-of-the-art facility in Glens Falls. In this critical role, you will be part of an innovative, patient-centered care team focused on excellence in diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine.
You'll perform complex diagnostic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals, including PET and SPECT scans, to help detect and treat various medical conditions. You'll also serve as a mentor and resource for newer technologists, demonstrating advanced clinical knowledge and leadership.
Salary Range: $86,650.99 - $134,309.04
Day Shift
What You'll Do
- Prepare and administer radioactive substances to patients in accordance with safety standards
- Operate imaging equipment (PET/SPECT) to capture detailed diagnostic images
- Independently perform complex nuclear imaging procedures
- Process images using advanced imaging acquisition software
- Support and mentor junior Nuclear Medicine Technologists (NMTs)
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and clarity throughout all procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with hospital protocols
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. – required
- Associate's Degree from an approved two-year AMA Nuclear Medicine program – required
- 4–6 years of related experience – required
- New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist License – required
- Certified by ARDMS, ARRT (N), or NMTCB – required upon hire
- CPR Certification – required
