Under general supervision, performs a variety of clerical and related duties and responsibilities which support the provision of patient care in the hospital. Education Central Monitoring Sitter, Central Monitoring Tech (I) (II), Central Monitoring Lead Education Type Program of Study Required/ Preferred High School Diploma or G.E.D. N/ A Required Experience Documentation of competency must be in education file for achievement of position; annual review of maintaining position will be performed by manager. Competency Position Completion of on-the-job training in Central Monitoring All Video sitter can perform the primary duties of the position in Central Monitoring that they were hired to fill as a general sitter and 1:1 sitter with patients daily with minimal supervision. Central Monitoring Sitter Tech can perform in telemetry monitoring only. Must complete Dysrhythmia Course within 3 months of hire.
