The Waste Process Technician I (WPT I) is an entry level position responsible to safely perform the following fundamental tasks which may include the following based on individual Business Unit: off-loading inbound trucks, waste stream QA/ QC, verify container count, manifest number and other relevant data needed for waste processing. Container sampling, recognizing non-conforming material, and processing of material through shredding operations, direct loading into solidification pit, LDI, etc. The WPT I is expected to have a general mechanical understanding of waste processing equipment. Specifically, via forklift, forklift attachments, hose, and valve operation. 3rd Shift 10:30 pm 7:00 am Position Responsibilities. Understand basic facility permit requirements and conduct daily activities to support all safety and compliance requirements.
