Works in a collaborative effort to provide assessment, care, support and/or rehabilitative services to mentally ill and or mentally ill/developmentally disabled adults in a residential setting. Works as part of an interdisciplinary team. Assists in the development, delivery and coordination and monitoring of skill training and recreation planning with residents and staff in keeping with program plan, schedule and work assignment. Provides supportive direction and hand-on guidance in life Skills Training to residents of the Community Residence. Assists with creating an environment for the development and delivery of diverse social skills training and utilizing both in-house and community based resources. Assists residents with planning, purchasing and preparing meals. Assists with functions required to run a home including but not limited to housekeeping, facility maintenance and laundry.
