The Transportation Driver safely transports individuals to and from Augusta Health locations using patient transport vehicles. The role emphasizes safe vehicle operation, readiness, and compliance with traffic and facility regulations. While medical care is not provided, drivers may assist passengers in a door-to-door manner. Courtesy, flexibility, and attention to detail are essential to delivering a positive transportation experience. Requirements: CPR Valid Virginia Driver's license 6 months of driving experience Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent EVOC- Emergency Vehicle Operator Certification Skill Requirements: Reasoning ability and good independent judgment. Minimum Age of 21. Excellent performance while maintaining patient confidentiality. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong communication skills. HIPAA - appropriately manages Protected Health Information (PHI).
