Employment Type:Part time. Shift:Evening Shift. Description:Schuyler Ridge in Clifton Park has a Part Time Evenings position for an Activity Assistant:Evenings 3 days per week -Tues. Wed. Thurs. 5:30 p-8:30 p and every other weekend Saturday & Sunday 8:00 a-4:00 p. Schuyler Ridge is looking for a person who enjoys working with the geriatric population. The ability to be self- directing, motivated and be an active member of a team is essential, other qualifications include:Activity Assistant to be a creative individual who is able to implement age appropriate, meaningful activities for LTC/ Geriatric residents planned by Activity Manager. Activity Assistant should have worked with residents who have dementia and are able to adapt the activities to fit the needs of each residents individual cognitive needs.
