This position is responsible for safely transporting materials containing various items, adhering to all safety standards. Tasks include loading and unloading items using a forklift, as well as assisting with warehouse operations and order fulfillment as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Transport product within a certain radius to offsite locations while also loading and unloading the truck with a forklift. Maintain a mileage log. Retain knowledge and comply with all Department of Transportation regulations. Maintain truck operating efficiency, safe operations and clean appearance of truck, reporting any maintenance malfunctions immediately after discovery. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Maintain delivery, truck and driving records. Complete daily shipping manifests, bill of ladings and all paperwork thoroughly and promptly. Unload product of varying size and weight, checking product while unloading with a forklift.
