LotusWorks is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, integral to our people-first approach. We are seeking an MEP Construction Coordinator to join our team within the semiconductor sector. This person is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for the facilities project. This role ensures that all MEP installations meet design specifications, project timelines, quality standards, and safety requirements. The coordinator will work closely with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of systems and successful project delivery. Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee the installation of all MEP systems to ensure compliance with design documents, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve conflicts and ensure optimal system integration.
  • Review MEP shop drawings, submittals, and as-builts for accuracy, constructability, and adherence to project requirements.
  • Conduct regular site walks and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Facilitate clash detection and resolution using BIM coordination tools.
  • Manage the schedule and sequencing of MEP work to align with overall construction timelines.
  • Track and report on key project metrics including progress updates, potential risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Support commissioning and handover activities including system testing, inspections, and preparation of close-out documentation.
  • Participate in coordination meetings and contribute to technical discussions and decision-making processes.
  • Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in MEP coordination or construction management, preferably within semiconductor, cleanroom, or high-tech facility projects.
  • A self-starter - someone who can work well both independently and on a team.
  • Proficiency in BIM coordination tools (e.g., Navisworks, Revit) and project management software.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction sequencing, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Education / Licenses / Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field strongly preferred, but not required.
  • PMP or Construction Certificate is a plus
  • OSHA 30
  • Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable
