Key Responsibilities -
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines and lathes, ensuring consistent, high-quality output.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications for accurate setup and machining.
- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using standard measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges), to maintain high tolerance and quality standards.
- Change tooling, load programs, adjust feeds, speeds, and offsets, and troubleshoot any setup or machining discrepancies.
- Uphold clean, organized, and safe workstations adhering to 5S and company safety protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues from Engineering, Quality, and Production to continually optimize setups and machining efficiency.
Qualifications -
- Minimum 5 years of solid hands-on experience in CNC machining and setup with mills and lathes.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and well-versed in common part inspection practices.
- Experience or aptitude with 5-axis machining or multi-spindle lathes is a significant plus.
- Strong familiarity with precision measuring instruments and inspection processes.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Thrives in a team environment, exhibits a self-motivated and positive attitude, and brings energy to the role.
