Underwriter - National Accounts

Performs underwriting analysis and risk assessment for new National Account (largest groups) contracts, specifically in self-funded arrangements. This job will include case reviews with management and peers on the team, setting financials, guarantees and appropriate products / programs. Expected to collaborate and strategize with sales, to create a customized quote that fits the customer's needs. There will be opportunity for coaching and developing within the Underwriting team, as well as working on projects and problem solves with the aim of improving the Underwriting process. Required Qualifications. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3 - 5 years experience in underwriting/accounting pricing methodologies and funding arrangements in healthcare.
