Subway Manager
As part of the Subway team, you will focus on eight main things:
- Providing an excellent guest experience
- Ensuring that great food is prepared and served
- Keeping our restaurants functional, clean, and beautiful
- Managing inventory and money control systems
- Coordinating local marketing initiatives, including community outreach
- Recruiting staff
- Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security

In addition to the role of a Manager, key parts of your day-to-day will consist of:
- Recruiting and rewarding outstanding team members
- Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed, including being aware of local and national healthy and food safety codes
- Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales
- Identifying and contacting prospective guests to promote sales
- Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring the restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window
- Planning special events and promotions

Prerequisites:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff
Essential functions:
Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is essential.
Physical:
Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
