Qualifications and Requirements:
To be considered for the Navy Nurse Corps, you must meet the following criteria:
Be a U.S. citizen currently practicing in the U.S. Be a student or graduate in good standing from a U.S. educational program that grants a Bachelor of Science degree, accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Hold a valid nursing license to practice in a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory (new graduates from NROTC or NCP must obtain a license within one year of beginning Active Duty). Be willing to commit to a minimum of three years of Active Duty service. Be aged between 18 and 41. Be in good physical condition and successfully pass a comprehensive medical examination. Qualifications may differ based on whether you choose Active Duty or Reserve Duty, and your prior service experience.
