Position Summary: As a Temporary Store Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and play a key role in maintaining high standards in product display and customer satisfaction. Your contributions will help maximize profitability while safeguarding company assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload delivery trucks and manage merchandise efficiently.
• Follow company protocols to unpack and store products, ensuring they are available on the sales floor.
• Create attractive merchandise displays to enhance store appearance.
• Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure items are appropriately faced for customers.
• Assist customers in locating products and answer their questions.
• Perform cleaning duties to maintain store cleanliness, including taking out trash and cleaning floors.
• Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle cash accurately.
• Engage with customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
• Help with inventory management and stock replenishment using handheld scanners.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition.
• Knowledge of safety practices and a commitment to following them.
• Ability to understand and implement plan-o-grams for product placement.
• Basic cash handling knowledge and mathematical skills.
• Familiarity with cash register functions is a plus.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
