Job Title: Devops Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 5 Months Roles and Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience with DevOps methodologies and practices: Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps principles, with a successful track record of implementing CI/CD practices that enhance collaboration between development and operations teams, improving software delivery efficiency
- Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and services: In-depth expertise in designing and deploying applications on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, and RDS to create scalable and secure solutions that meet business needs
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools: Skilled in using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning, ensuring consistency and reducing manual errors in deployment processes
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI): Hands-on experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI, integrating automated testing and deployment processes to streamline software releases
- Excellent architectural design and problem-solving skills: Proven ability to design scalable architectures and address technical challenges, analyzing complex systems to implement effective solutions that enhance performance and reliability
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field: Educational background that provides a solid foundation in software development and system architecture principles
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, with a focus on architecture: Extensive experience in DevOps environments, emphasizing architectural design and implementation in various projects
- AWS certification or equivalent cloud certification preferred: Validated expertise in cloud technologies, enhancing the ability to design and implement effective cloud solutions
- Proven experience in leading technical teams and projects: Demonstrated leadership skills in managing technical teams, driving project success, and mentoring team members
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly: Ability to analyze technical problems and communicate solutions effectively to diverse audiences, ensuring alignment among stakeholders
- This position requires occasional onsite travel for meetings
