Position Details Position Information Position Title Application Administrator, Enterprise Systems Requisition # S01472P FLSA Exempt Location IIT-Mies Campus (MC), 10 West 35th St., Chicago Department User and Technical Services GENERAL DESCRIPTION We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled CRM Administrator to join the Enterprise Operations team of the Office of Technology (OTS). The Application Administrator, Enterprise Systems will support the following key operations such as data management, systems management, and enrollment reporting functions. This position will collaborate with various key departments across the organization, serving asa subject matter expert in the enrollment management systems. The Application Administrator, Enterprise Systems will engage in written, verbal, and in-person communication with both internal and external stakeholders. CUSTOMER SERVICE This role requires extensive collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.   • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience with higher education systems, such as Banner or Slate Technolutions.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Ability to work independently with strong initiative and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to develop effective, data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate with all stakeholders at all levels.

  • Highly detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a timely and organized manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Project or similar project management tools
SUPERVISION & BUDGET AUTHORITY N/A Physical Environment and Requirements This is a hybrid position (Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, California). Prolonged use of computers and intensive keyboard use required. May require the ability to move computers and other equipment up to 20lbs. N/A Key Responsibilities Key ResponsibilityEnrollment & Student Services
  • Administer and maintain application administrator, ensuring optimal system performance and data integrity.
  • Configure and manage workflows, rules, forms, portals, and integrations to support enrollment and student success initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Enrollment, Admissions, and IT teams to enhance CR capabilities and streamline business processes.
  • Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements based on stakeholder needs.
Enterprise Systems Administration
  • Support the administration and integration of other enterprise applications, including ERP (Ellucian Banner), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and reporting tools.
  • Ensure seamless data exchange between Banner SIS and other university systems.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot errors, and coordinate upgrades or patches as needed.
  • Maintain security standards, access controls, and compliance with data governance policies.
Process Improvement & Data Management
  • Work with functional users to analyze business processes and recommend system improvements.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data exports to support strategic decision making.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems, implementing validation and quality checks as necessary.
User Support & Training
  • Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert for enterprise applications.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions, documentation, and best practices for users.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues.
