As a Dialysis Nurse, you will play a vital role within a dedicated team, supporting the care of patients with kidney disease under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. Your compassion and expertise will be essential in improving the lives of those in need.
What you'll be doing
Patient care: You will deliver safe, effective, and high-quality dialysis treatment for patients. Key responsibilities include conducting and documenting comprehensive physical assessments both before and after treatments, as well as closely monitoring patients during their sessions. You'll ensure optimal care by reviewing medication profiles monthly and administering medications as ordered by physicians.
Teamwork: You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to conduct thorough patient assessments and develop care plans. It's essential to meet center staffing requirements under the direction of the Administrator while adhering to all state regulations regarding staffing ratios.
Safety & Quality: Under the guidance of the Charge Nurse, you will comply with company policies, state and federal laws, and regulations. Your participation in mandatory staff meetings and ongoing education will enhance your professional development.
