Job Details:

General Summary:

As a Temporary Store Clerk, you will be the key point of contact for our valued customers. Your role will involve helping to maintain store displays and stock merchandise effectively to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Unload merchandise trucks and assist in the stock process.
• Follow company procedures to unpack and store products.
• Build engaging merchandise displays.
• Stock and rotate merchandise on shelves to maintain inventory levels.
• Assist customers in locating items and providing excellent service.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including mopping floors and cleaning restrooms.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling customer transactions with accuracy.
• Collect payments, process returns, and ensure a smooth checkout experience.
• Assist with ordering inventory using handheld devices as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understanding of safety practices in a retail environment.
• Able to follow merchandise presentation and stock guidance.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling and mathematical skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
