Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Patient Care Tech to join their team. As a Patient Care Tech, you will be part of the patient care team supporting the delivery of essential healthcare services. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Patient Care Tech

Location: Englewood, CO

Pay Range: $28.00

Shift: 8 hours per shift

What's the Job?

  • Provide direct, patient care for assigned patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.

  • Assist licensed nurse with pre and post dialysis patient assessments and their documentation.

  • Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on Dialysis Flow Sheets.

  • Report any significant information or change in patient condition to the supervisor.

  • Initiate basic CPR measures in the event of cardiac and/or pulmonary arrest and respond to emergency situations related to dialysis treatment.

What's Needed?

  • Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred, but not required.

  • Successful completion of a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.

  • Successful completion of CPR Certification.

  • High school degree or G.E.D.

  • Education in physical sciences and/or training in laboratory techniques preferred.
