Work Place Flexibility: Hybrid Legal Entity: Entergy Services, LLC The preferred work location is New Orleans, LA but The Woodlands, TX may also be given consideration. The official job title will be Analyst II, Analyst III, Analyst Sr or Analyst Sr Lead, depending on the selected candidate's level of qualification. Job Summary/Purpose

The Compliance Analyst plays a critical role in the ethics and compliance program for Entergy Corporation and all of its subsidiaries and affiliates. The position will work with cross-functional teams throughout the organization, assist with the development of and reporting on compliance projects, and work with appropriate stakeholders to address gaps and continuous improvement opportunities. This position reports to the Manager of General Compliance, providing expertise to execute our compliance program strategy including communications, risk assessment and mitigation, policy management, analytics, causal determination and training.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Support Entergy's general ethics and compliance program, including but not limited to the following:

  • Developing and/or contributing to the annual E&C communication plan ensuring that our program is aligned with DOJ guidance of tailored and targeted communications policies, reporting, metrics, communications, etc.
  • Developing and delivering effective written communications on ethics and compliance topics that promote policy awareness and understanding throughout the organization.
  • Managing and/or contributing to Entergy's system and specialized policy process that provides employee policies, standards and procedures that apply systemwide.
  • Leading and/or contributing to the maintenance of the Code of Entegrity and related codes of conduct to ensure ongoing accuracy, relevance and consistency with Entergy system policies and strategic priorities.
  • Leading and/or contributing to annual, quarterly and monthly written E&C program reports to Entergy leaders and stakeholders, including (but not limited to) quarterly reports to the Corporate Compliance Committee and the Office of the General Counsel and an annual report to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
  • Providing system policy interpretations and Code of Entegrity guidance to employees.
  • Interacting with stakeholders to understand and address emerging ethics and compliance issues. Participating in Causal Determination and predictive analytics processes to identify cause, trends, and corrective actions of ethics line cases.
  • Developing or collaborating on content for compliance and ethics training.
  • Using the Archer GRC tool for risk surveys, control testing and specialized policy reviews.
  • Maintaining and updating E&C-program documentation and responding to related requests in support of legal and regulatory proceedings, collective bargaining activity and investigations.
  • Assessing and documenting the risk of noncompliance with a wide variety of laws and regulations that apply to Entergy's business.
  • Staying current and applying ethics and compliance leading practices.
Minimum Requirements

Minimum education required of the position: Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent work experience required. Desired: Master's Degree (such as MBA) Preferred Degrees: Business Administration, Communications, Management, Human Resources, or Organizational Development

Minimum experience required of the position:

  • Analyst II: 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Analyst III: 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Analyst, Sr: 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Analyst, Sr Lead: 8+ years of relevant experience
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required of the Position

Preferred Expertise and Knowledge:

  • Business ExpertiseAbility to organize and interpret data, understand internal and external business challenges and recommend improvements to compliance products, processes, or services. Knowledge of electric utility business preferred
  • Functional KnowledgeRequires depth or breadth of expertise in facilitating compliance with rules, regulations, or policies. Relevant work experiences may include: data analytics, creation of corporate codes of ethics and employee policies; risk analysis and internal control evaluation; legal and regulatory compliance
  • Familiarity with internal controls and risk assessment techniques
  • RSA Archer / GRC administration
  • SharePoint administration
  • Microsoft PowerBI
  • Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Skills Required:

  • Business writing and editing Ability to compose clear and concise reports on ethics and compliance program; communications to Entergy's employees; policies and policy summaries; meeting agendas and minutes, charters and other key business documents

  • Process documentation Ability to clearly document work processes graphically (e.g., flowcharts) and in writing
  • Project management - Ability to plan, organize and coordinate complex projects (including project timelines) working with peers
  • Change management skills ability to successfully plan, coordinate and drive change through cross-functional collaboration
  • Data Analytics ability to obtain, process and analyze data for use in predictive analysis and distillation into reports
