Travel Clerk

This position is responsible for arranging travel via all major modes of transportation and compiling expense reporting for our maintenance technician team. The individual will be challenged with booking substantial amounts of varied travel throughout the CONUS, Caribbean, and Pacific regions. Working with our scheduling team, this position will coordinate flights, vehicle rentals and hotel accommodations. This will include assisting the travel team in securing commercial and contracted flights and working with commercial and base vehicle rental and lodging entities. Position will be vital in assisting team with communicating travel plans and responding to inquiries regarding travel policies, procedures, and logistics, booking last-minute accommodations and changes in plans, and preparing expense reporting for supervisory approval.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and four (4) years of relevant experience in government contracting or travel
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Efficient use of Microsoft Office & M365 applications

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Awareness of DoD travel policies and Government Contractor employee travel regulations
  • Familiarity with SAP Concur Travel and Expensing applications

Pay Information:

This position is covered by a wage law called the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). The wage range for this position is determined by the Wage and Hour Division of the Department of Labor on a contract-by-contract basis.
