Provide daily hands-on manufacturing engineering support to the Insulator Business Unit. The Insulator BU uses an epoxy/glass pultrusion process to create the rods used as the core of the insulator. A mechanical crimping process is used to attach hardware to the finished insulator. This position will support all aspects of both operations by developing and implementing tooling, machine, process, assembly, and testing improvements focused on continuously improving safety, quality, manufacturing efficiency, and reliability. #LI-SL 1 A Day In The Life Supports manufacturing operations, maintenance, and quality personnel to resolve daily issues in a timely manner. Support the Quality department in resolving Product Performance Inquiries (PPI). Take the lead, and supports others, in problem solving relative to products, equipment, and processes.
