Senior Manager - Record To Report - Accounting Operations CoE

The Accounting Operations Centers of Excellence team is a centralized hub dedicated to optimizing and automating accounting processes, leveraging advanced technologies, and fostering specialized expertise. Its core purpose is to drive innovation and continuous improvement in financial operations, ensuring accuracy in our financial reporting and results.

The Senior Manager, R2R is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information, providing insights for strategic decision-making, and managing the accounting team.

What You'll Do

• Oversee Financial Reporting: Manage accounting close processes, prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, and ensure accurate account reconciliations.
• Compliance and Internal Controls: Develop and implement accounting policies, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain internal controls to protect company assets.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance and training. They assign tasks and help the team stay current with accounting standards.
• Process Improvement and Efficiency: Identify and implement ways to improve accounting processes and systems for better efficiency and accuracy.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work with other departments and senior leadership to provide financial support and expertise.

What You'll Bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is typically required, with a CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and regulations, proficiency in accounting software and Excel, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills are also essential.
• The ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and attention to detail are important.
