: Job Details :

Follows patients plan of care. Administers treatments, performs procedures and documents per facility policy. Position Responsibilities:Administers and monitors the effectiveness of medications/treatments ordered by physician and documents same. Assists in implementing the care plan by performing patients care as based upon identified needs consistent with plan of care and mutually agreed upon goals with patient/family/ Case Manager. Evaluates the effectiveness of the plan of care and notifies Case Manager and Physician of changes in patient care. Responds to emergencies and reports to the Registered Nurse and Team Manager. Complies with Virtua Standards of performance, federal and state regulation defined in nursing policy, procedure and standard operating procedures. Demonstrates technical competence in administering care including the use of equipment and supplies. Participates in patient satisfaction program creating a supportive caring environment.
