Provides functional guidance to staff and new hires. Monitors status of assigned areas. Maintains a clean, attractive and safe environment by performing appropriate cleaning duties. Performs patient transportation and or lift services. May transport monitored telemetry patients if the BCM class is taken and passed, and the required training provided by Nursing education is completed. Assists nursing with dressing changes and transports deceased patients to the morgue. Job Description:EDUCATION - Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience. CERTIFICATION & LICENSUREBLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider. BCM certification to transport monitored patients preferred. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:Prior experience in a patient care setting. Prior experience as an EVS technician and/or patient escort in a healthcare setting is required.
