Position Summary
The Manager of Project Management will lead, plan, coordinate, and execute strategic and technical projects across manufacturing operations. This position is critical in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while aligning with the organization's goals. The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Cultural Leadership

Project & Program Leadership
- Oversee multiple complex manufacturing projects from initiation to completion.
- Ensure effective project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Track and report milestones, risks, and action plans to stakeholders.
Team Management & Development
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers and coordinators.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and career development opportunities.
- Set performance metrics aligned with business objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, operations, procurement, quality, and electrical teams.
- Liaise with customers, vendors, and sales to ensure project requirements are met.
- Coordinate activities between U.S. and international engineering teams.
Process Improvement & Standards
- Standardise project execution practices across departments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
- Align project deliverables with engineering and quality standards.
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
- Ensure compliance with NEC, UL, ISO9001, and other electrical codes and standards.
- Manage UL listing processes and maintain relationships with testing and certification bodies.
- Oversee product testing, certification, and audit schedules.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related technical field.
- 8+ years in manufacturing or industrial project management.
- 3–5 years managing technical teams in a project or operational environment.
Skills & Certifications
- PMP certification required; Six Sigma or Lean certifications preferred.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, ERP (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), and industrial equipment.
- Skilled in project planning software and technical documentation.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the VP of Engineering.
