About the Role
As Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll lead complex design and drafting projects. You'll collaborate with project managers, vendors, and customers to deliver high-quality solutions from concept to commissioning. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys turning ideas into reality.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed drawings and 3D models from specifications using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Design new products and improve existing systems with a strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Define dimensions, materials, and procedures for custom projects.
- Manage small-scale projects including scheduling, budgeting, and customer communication.
- Travel to client sites for installation and commissioning as needed.
- Maintain and update project drawings and drafting libraries.
- Prepare engineering documents for customer submittals and internal use.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hourly Range: $45-$60hr
