Job Description :

The Digital Product Governance Lead is responsible for managing and maintains high-quality product data across an organization, ensuring its accuracy, consistency, and accessibility for various business systems and processes. The role will work with the associated business counterparts for Product Data that exist in PLM, ERP, and PIM. The role involves creating and executing plans for updating, verifying, and cleansing master data across systems for product data. The role provides ongoing support and training to users on master data maintenance, adheres to data governance best practices, and supports business requirements by ensuring data is timely, complete, and accurate.

This position will serve our Enterprise Division in Indianapolis, IN or Atlanta, GA (Hybrid).

Responsibilities:

  • Be part of the global implementation team that executes global strategic programs that require accurate and high-quality product master data at Rheem.
  • Lead, formulate and execute plans that encompass product data management, data quality, governance, training and contribute towards process improvements for data workflows and processes around product data.
  • Work with the business data stewards and custodians to ensure master data is created, updated and maintained in various systems.
  • Validate, detect, correct data by formulating plans and execute them to maintain accuracy.
  • Implement and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Provide support and training to users on master data maintenance procedures and tools.
  • Support programs that help improve design and optimization of data workflows and processes. This would involve working with stakeholders across different departments within IT, operations, engineering and product management.
  • Architect and execute technical solutions across platforms PLM, ERP, PIM systems to ensure product data integrity exists across the product data digital thread.
  • Able to guide the teams through the development, testing and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively.
  • Provide direction and technical expertise in design, development, and systems integration, as they apply to product data governance.
  • Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment for project implementation.
  • Ensure standard operating procedures and project guidelines are in place and being followed by the product data teams (Both IT and Business Teams).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of overall work experience in project management, IT and/or engineering related fields.
  • Strong understanding of master data management concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with relevant enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PLM systems – Windchill, Team Center, Aras PLM). Minimum of 5 years' experience in working with PLM and PIM Tools and ERP platforms.
  • Expertise with data governance principles and procedures
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends and patterns.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to work with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, engineers, business teams, IT, Business, and Rheem partners) and external subject matter experts.
  • Good experience with the overall end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) Process and Sustaining Change Process that integrates end-to-end systems.
  • Passionate about building and owning innovative, customer facing services/products.
  • Great presentation and communication skills.
