Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Budget Project Manager to join their team! This position is located in Bellevue, Washington.
Duties:
- Manage capital budgets for the PNW engineering team, including daily tracking of available budget, spend, commitments, and tracking towards monthly targets
- Prepare periodic financial reports and present budget updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Forecast monthly spend using run rates and project forecasts
- Determine any budget deltas from forecast at the end of the month and summarize the reasons for the business
- Collaborate with the various engineering teams to ensure the OCNR is kept up-to-date with minimal post-due POs and that PO due dates are in the month that invoicing is expected
- Drive invoicing and spend to meet or exceed the forecasted monthly spend
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Manage budget adjustments to accommodate shifting budgetary needs throughout the year
- Perform periodic tracking of unit costs per program and identifying any significant deltas from budgeted numbers
- Send periodic reports on overall and monthly POR and budget status
- Ensure projects are properly placed in service to keep market WIP to a minimum
- Track and forecast expense spend for the market
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in project management and budget control, preferably in an engineering environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and financial analytics tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively

The approximate pay range for this position is between $34.00 and $49.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
