My client, a global leader in its industry, is seeking its next General Counsel to join its leadership team, resident at its main office in a small lake community in the Midwest. Candidates will have an active law license, at least 7 years of law practice experience (preferably in house), outstanding employee relations skills, and ideally possess a strong knowledge and skillset in commercial contracts and compliance, labor and employment/HR related matters (EEOC, ADA, FMLA) and managing litigation. This position, reporting to the CEO, is the sole in house legal resource for the largest employer of its county (the largest of it type in the country) and its over 4000 employees, working with key management leaders with an active, respected voice in decision making.
