About the role:

As a Reliability Manager, you'll lead a team of maintenance supervisors and technicians to ensure equipment reliability, minimal downtime, and a culture of continuous improvement. You'll be a hands-on leader responsible for optimizing preventive and reactive maintenance programs, managing spare parts and inventory processes, and helping your team grow their skills. Your work directly supports production uptime, food safety, and regulatory compliance, empowering us to meet customer demand efficiently and safely.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop the maintenance team, driving equipment uptime and technician performance.
  • Own the plant's preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, continuously improving reliability.
  • Manage repair and maintenance activities for all plant systems, equipment portfolio including:
  • AMTEK Slacking Transmitter (PLC: Allen-Bradley)
  • GERNAL Oven 1 (Controller: JUMO)
  • Blancher (PLC: Allen-Bradley)
  • Hygiene Guard Turnstile (Controller: Omron)
  • LOMA Inspection System (Controller: B&R)
  • ProSeal GT2 Sealing Machine (Controller: Mitsubishi)
  • Matrix Packaging Equipment (PLC: Allen-Bradley)
  • Viking Equipment (Controller: Siemens)
  • Solbern Assembly (PLC: Allen-Bradley)
  • Float Wash Buggy (Manual/System controlled)
  • Analyze downtime trends and adjust maintenance plans accordingly.
  • Coordinate weekly maintenance schedules aligned with labor and overtime budgets.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory, usage tracking, and CMMS accuracy.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with production and quality teams.
  • Lead EHS and regulatory compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to GMP, SOPs, FDA/USDA, and HACCP requirements.
  • Participate in the launch of new or updated equipment and product lines.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and high-performing team environment through coaching, training, and clear performance goals.

What You'll Bring

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of maintenance management experience, ideally in a food manufacturing or processing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CMMS systems, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated success in developing KPIs, policies, and team capabilities.
  • Effective communicator with strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Track record of hands-on leadership, driving results on the floor.
  • Bilingual skills a plus (English/Spanish preferred).
  • Deep understanding of safety, sanitation, and quality standards in a regulated environment.
