Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $28–$42/hour
Love payroll? Love problem-solving? A well-established healthcare group looking for a Payroll Specialist who can keep the numbers clean, the process smooth, and the systems humming. What You'll Be Doing:
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across the organization
- Maintain HR/payroll systems and assist with system updates and audits
- Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related matters, including ADP and Oracle support
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and IT
- Process tax forms, third-party requests, Cobra payments, garnishments, and deductions
- Support audits and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements
- Keep meticulous records and spreadsheets to support quarter- and year-end balancing
- Deliver top-notch customer service to employees at all levels
What You Bring:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in payroll or accounting
- 2+ years of hands-on payroll experience, ideally in a healthcare or multi-site environment
- Strong working knowledge of payroll software (experience with Oracle, ADP, or API is a plus)
- Comfort juggling multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- Clear communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail with a knack for problem-solving
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between local sites
