Department: Student Experience Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: The Extra Help/Student Activities Board Admin will assist with office-related duties and campus events. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. Qualifications: Required Education and/or Experience:
  • Enrolled as a student at UA Little Rock.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Attend all SAB events;
  • Assist in developing and planning all major SAB events;
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.75;
  • Meet with other board members and graduate assistants on a weekly basis;
  • Create and share agendas/minutes from each planning meeting;
  • Reserve spaces and order food and supplies for events;
  • Keep records of evaluations and assessments of all SAB events;
  • Maintain contact with student organizations and other volunteer sources (e.g., CLC, SGA, SADI, etc.);
  • Develop marketing strategies for all SAB events;
  • Maintain SAB social media accounts, including but not limited to Instagram and Facebook;
  • Work with the graphic artist in the Student Experience Center to design promotional materials;
  • Utilize social media and other avenues to gauge campus interest in types of programming via polls, surveys, focus groups, etc.;
  • Recruit volunteers for all SAB events;
  • Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
