- Rotating Schedule (4 days a week): Service Hours Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm & Saturday 7:30 am to 3:00 pm

Technician Duties: The Service Technician is responsible for performing automotive repairs and service in accordance with Subaru standards. This individual utilizes his skills to diagnose and resolve various automotive problems swiftly and accurately. The Service Technician collaborates with all Service personnel and management to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Perform work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy
- Diagnose the cause of the malfunction
- Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements
- Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
- Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
- Document work performed on the repair order and document test procedures/results.
- Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of standard mechanics tools to include impact driver, screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, hammers, chisels, and punches, and other tools needed to perform the work for which the technician is trained and not normally inventoried by the service department as special tools .
- Return special tools to their designated storage location.
- Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean workspace by completing daily stall cleaning.
- Ensure that customers' vehicles are returned to them as clean as they were prior to being serviced.
- Communicate effectively with other dealership personnel as needed to meet customer needs.
- Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an automotive technician/mechanic, preferably with Subaru or similar brands (minimum 3+ years preferred)
- Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with Subaru systems and technology
- Motivated to learn through web-based training and instructor-led classes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
- Valid Pennsylvania State Inspection Certification
- Valid Pennsylvania Emissions Inspection Certification, Northern Tier, or OBDII
- Valid 609 Certification
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- ASE Certifications a plus
