A successful Concierge is able to manage their time effectively, is detail oriented, a trustworthy team player, and takes pride in their work. In addition, this position needs to be accountable and attentive to provide excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents, associates and vendors.Primary Responsibilities:Positively interact with residents and prospective residents on a daily basis, establishing friendly rapport and warmly welcoming them into the community and directing them towards their needsMaintain in-depth knowledge of community, residents and competitor properties at all timesPlan, organize and execute a wide range of virtual and in person events and activities for residents Actively promote and encourage residents to participate in events and activities through multiple forms of communicationRespond to resident and prospective resident calls and emails promptly in the morning and throughout the dayAnswer incoming calls, convert phone calls into walk in traffic, set viewing appointmentsTour prospective residents with energy and enthusiasm the Weidner way, when necessaryWalk marketing tour path, open target viewing apartments, and rent ready apartments, model homes and community amenitiesMaintain and follow up on all communications of traffic in queue, emails and phone calls, when necessaryEnsure market ready apartments, common areas and amenities are clean and maintained daily to Weidner's quality standardsFoster and develop community partnershipsAccepts all incoming packages (mail, floral deliveries, etc.) for residents and delivers promptlyAssist/Manage amenity scheduling QualificationsQualifications:Prior customer service experience requiredComplete tasks in a safe and efficient mannerAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with strong motivation to learn & contribute on a daily basisAbility to manage multiple tasks at one timeAble to give professional directions clearly in person, over the phone, email, and textExperienced in Microsoft products preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)Yardi and Paycom experience preferred; Willing and able to learn new software programsFollow Weidner's Mission, Vision and Values and comply with all Weidner policies and procedures as well as all Fair Housing, local, state/province, and federal lawsPrompt, regular attendance; wear company dress code/uniform & maintain professional appearance at all timesWork effectively and cooperatively in a team environment and/or independentlyAbility to work outside of normal scheduled hours as neededWilling and able to be assigned to other Weidner properties as neededWorking knowledge of English; detail oriented, well organizedMust agree to a criminal background check and sign an agreement for voluntary drug testingMust have access to personal vehicle and/or reliable transportation, at all timesDriver's license, vehicle and vehicle insurance must be valid and unexpired at all times and match the country in which associate will work
