ASRC Federal Field Services, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Specialist, Packer to support our government customer programs in Enid, Oklahoma. Responsible for packing and crating of supplies, equipment, sensitive assets and hazardous items IAW Air Force and other regulations. Will complete Hazmat training (non-certifying) relevant to packaging, storage and handling. Must prepare and pack Supply assets to be stored IAW Stock Readiness Program. Construct crates using MIL-STD-2073, Special Packaging Instructions (SPls) and relevant Technical Orders (TOs). Obtain Wood Packing Material (WPM) certification and act as WPM Custodian. Submit monthly and quarterly reports to the DoD WPM website. Use EXCEL spreadsheets to keep track of lumber usage and daily packing log. Safely operate and maintain wood working equipment and tools required for preparing and shaping wood and allied materials. Use steel and nylon banding to secure cargo. Block and brace cargo and operate MHE (excludes heavy equipment) to move pallets and load/unload cargo from tractor trailers and flatbed trucks. Act as Cargo Deployment Function (CDF) Team Member during deployments and deployment exercises. CDF training is provided prior to appointment as a CDF Team Member. Perform other related duties as assigned.
