What You'll Do:
As a School-Based Therapist, you'll work directly in K–12 schools, offering therapy and support to students referred by educators, healthcare providers, families, and community agencies.
Provide evidence-based therapy to a consistent caseloadConduct assessments and create individualized care plansCollaborate with school staff, families, and other professionalsKeep accurate clinical records and documentationParticipate in regular clinical supervision and team support
What You'll Need:
Therapist I (Initial Licensure State of Iowa)Master's in mental health-related field (social work, counseling, psychology, etc.)Current IA or IL license: tLMHC, LMSW, LPC, or LSW
Therapist II (Independent Licensure State of Iowa)Same education as aboveCurrent IA or IL license: LISW, LMHC, LCPC, or LCSW
Other Requirements:Valid driver's license & acceptable auto insuranceIntermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, EHR software)Ability to work directly with children experiencing behavioral or emotional distress
