Do you have crisis hotline experience? Come join our team of compassionate and experienced staff at Baltimore County Crisis Response! We are seeking candidates who can work either day shifts (8:00am-4:00pm or 10:00am-6:00pm), evening shifts (4:00pm to 12:00am), or Overnight shifts (12:00am to 8:00am) in person at our office in Timonium, MD. Sante is seeking Full-Time Phone Counselors to join our crisis intervention team in Timonium, MD. As a Phone Counselor, you will serve as the first point of contact for individuals experiencing a crisis and will provide support by evaluating needs, assessing risks, providing goal-directed counseling and crisis planning. What Youll Do

• Triage incoming crisis calls and obtain client information.
• Conduct assessments and dispatch appropriate resources when needed.
• Deescalate clients in crisis over the phone.
• Develop appropriate and realistic crisis plan and complete appropriate follow tasks.
• Effectively communicate clients needs while making internal agency referrals.
• Knowledge and familiarity with community resources, both mental health and non-mental health.
• Complete documentation in an accurate and thorough manner.

What Youll Get

• Salary Range: $24.00 to $26.50 per hour based on experience.
• Available shifts:
• Day Shift: 8am to 4pm or 10am to 6pm
• Evening Shift: 4pm to midnight
• Overnight Shift: midnight to 8am

What We Require

• Bachelors Degree in Human Services or a related field of study or five (5) years of experience working on a crisis hotline.
