In addition, DPHHS is the largest state agency with a wide range of advancement opportunities whether you are joining the workforce or have several years of experience.Qualifications for this Career OpportunityKnowledge of psychosocial assessment and vocational rehabilitation counseling.Knowledge of assistive technology.Knowledge of disability rights, culture, and history.Ability to be flexible and balance between literal adherence to rules and the use of policies as a guide.Skill in working with individuals with disabilities.Ability to interpret and use medical and psychological information to make sound decisions.Ability be proactive, organized, and manage caseloads.Meet minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a field of study reasonably related to vocational rehabilitation counseling, disability studies, human services, business administration, special education, psychology, or communications, or another field that reasonably prepares individuals to work with consumers and employers.One year of experience in rehabilitation counseling, career counseling, human services, or human resources.Equivalent combinations of related education and experience may be considered.How to ApplyTo be considered for a DPHHS position, submit the following required documents with your application on the State of Montana Careers website.
