Pride Health is hiring for a Card Cath Technologist to support our client's medical facility based in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This is a contract opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Details:-
Assist physicians during adult and pediatric cardiac catheterizations, including procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, atherectomy, pacemaker insertion, valve implantation, and more.
Prepare sterile fields, scrub in, and set up instrumentation for procedures.
Monitor, record, and assess hemodynamic data throughout procedures.
Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as fluoroscopy, cine-angiographic x-ray machines, and blood analysis devices.
Provide life support measures during cardiac or respiratory arrest, including CPR, defibrillation, and airway management.
Qualifications:-
Graduate from a Specialty Training Program (Required); Associate's Degree in a healthcare-related field (Preferred).
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association (Required).
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required.
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification within 6 months of hire – Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Strong skills in sterile technique, teamwork, and patient safety.
Additional Information:-
Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, four 10-hour shifts; On-call required 1–2 days per week and every third weekend.
Pay Range:$78-$82
The offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
